Marie Griffin

Marie C. Griffin, 83, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Lockport, died 
at 3:45 p.m. Oct. 22, 2005.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. today at Our Lady of Prompt 
Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow, with burial at Cheramie Cemetery.

She is survived by daughters Lisa Deroche, Nena Griffin and Libby St. Pierre; 
seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands Norris Deroche and Grady Faulk; 
parents, Thomas and Bastriana Anselmi Griffin; daughters Virginia Gail Faulk and 
SuzAnne Gaubert; and brother, Thomas Griffin.

She was Catholic and retired.

Samart Funeral Home of Raceland was in charge of arrangements.
