Raymond Joseph Chauvin Sr., 73, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of 
Lafayette, died at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 5, 2005.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. today at St. Joseph Church, 
with burial at the church mausoleum.

He is survived by his son, Raymond Chauvin Jr. of Texas; brother Eldon Chauvin; 
sisters Ela Bergeron, Allie Duplantis and Rita LeBouef.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Emile and Azema M. Dubois 
Chauvin; brothers Louis Junius, Nolan and Anthony Chauvin; and sisters Yvonne 
Authemement and Viley Domangue.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
