Roberta Howard

Roberta Thomas Howard, 79, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of New 
Orleans, died Sept. 27, 2005 in Houston.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Baptist Church at Lafourche 
Crossing. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, 
with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her daughters Karen Lynn Howard and Sheryl Howard; sister, 
Myrtle Every; brothers Ellis Thomas, Horace Thomas Sr., and Leroy Thomas; and 
one grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Howard; parents, Louis Thomas Sr. 
and Julia Butler Thomas; brother, Louis Thomas Jr., and sisters Leotha Ellen 
Hampton, Victoria Henderson, and Mable Williams.

She was a member of Austerlitz Street Baptist Church in New Orleans.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
