Thelma Benoit

Thelma Boudreaux Benoit, 59, a native of Donaldsonville and resident of Houma, 
died Oct. 13, 2005.

A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. today at St. John Catholic Church in 
Thibodaux.

She is survived by her husband, Clifton "C.J." Breaux; sons Alan Gros and Brian 
Gros; stepsons Kevin and Perry Benoit; daughters Letha "Lea" Cantrelle, Connie 
Canterbury and Frances "Liz" Cottrell; stepdaughter Connie Pennington; brother 
Kenneth Boudreaux; sisters Verna Hebert and Norma Landry; 15 grandchildren; two 
great-grandchildren; and 16 step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frances Booty and Cleogere Boudreaux; 
and brothers Robert and Ernest Boudreaux.

She was a homemaker and a former paper carrier for the Houma Courier.

She was Catholic.

In lieu of flowers, donations to help with funeral expenses are preferred.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
