Tommy Hood Sr.						[Photo]

Tommy Hood Sr., 55, a native of Dayton, Ohio and resident of Thibodaux, died at 
7:20 p.m. Oct. 1, 2005.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Samart Funeral Home in 
Raceland. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Thursday at 
the funeral home.

He is survived by his beloved companion, Maureen Johnson; mother, Carmen Hood; 
sons Tommy Jr. and David Hood; brother Bobby Hood; brother Bobby Hood; sister 
Reba Weymouth; and grandchildren, David Musck, April Hood, Hailey Hood, Ashlie 
Hood, Shawna Lindsey and Amber Hood.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lucien Hood; son Timothy Hood; brother 
David Hood.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spoiling his grandchildren.

He was employed by Southern Technologies.

Samart Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
