Clara Landry

Clara Rodrigue Landry, 104, a native of Belle Rose and resident of 
Doanldsonville, died Nov. 21, 2005.

Visitation will be 8 to 10:40 a.m. Wednesday at Ourso Funeral Home in 
Donaldsonville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. 
Wednesday at St. Jules Catholic Church in Belle Rose, with burial at the church 
cemetery.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Murray and Joy Thibodaux Landry 
of Labadieville; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-
grandchildren; three nieces; and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Murray Landry Sr., parents, Louis and 
Claire Rodrigue; daughter Shirley Mikesha; son Pierre Landry; brothers Lois, 
Sam, Telesthore, Henry and Charles Rodrigue; sisters Nellie R. Simoneaux, 
Angeline R. LeGleu, Bertha Rodrigue and Lorena Rodrigue; daughter-in-law Iris 
Simoneaux Landry; and son-in-law Walter Mikesha.
