Gail Weathersby					[Photo]

Gail Ford Weathersby, 53, a native of Natchez, Miss., and resident of Schriever, 
died at 8:44 p.m. Nov. 7, 2005.

Visitation will be 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma. A 
religious service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel. A 
graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery 
in Natchez.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, John R. Weathersby; mother and 
stepfather, Eula Lee Buckles Ford Allen and L.C. Allen of Natchez; son Richard 
C. Thompson; daughters Bridgett Thompson Denson of Bayou Blue and Alison N. 
Weathersby of Houma; brothers Walter L. Ford of Natchez and David G. Ford of 
Denham Springs; stepbrothers Larry Allen of Natchez, Steve Allen of Ennis, Texas 
and Chris D. Allen of Vidalia; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Morris Ford; and brother Roger W. Ford.

She was a registered nurse at Chabert Medical Center and past employee of 
Thibodaux Regional Medical Center.

She was an avid gardener, enjoyed reading and painting, spending time with her 
family and grandchildren. She graduated from Nicholls State University in 1992.
