Geraldine Brooks

Geraldine Brooks, 68, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Nov. 24, 2005.

A religious service was held at 11 a.m. today at Moses Baptist Church in 
Thibodaux, with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her daughter Carol Pierre of Thibodaux; son Carl Frye of 
Thibodaux; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin Sr. and Louisa Smith Brooks; 
brother Calvin Brooks Jr.; and sisters Mary Eva Hills and Shirley Dyer.

She was a member of Moses Baptist Church and served on the Deaconess Board. Her 
hobbies included cooking, cross stitching, gardening, and cross word puzzles.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
