Irene Shelby

Irene H. Shelby, 90, a native of Napoleonville and resident of New Orleans, died 
Oct. 28, 2005.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at St. John Baptist Church in 
Napoleonville. A religious service will be held at noon Saturday at the church, 
with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Shelby and Bobbie Perkins of New 
Oleans; sister; Bertha Dolliole; seven grandchildren; and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Shelby; parents Walter and 
Bertha Hunt; five sisters; and two brothers.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
