James Barger


James "Jim" Barger, 85, a native of Hazzard, Ky., and resident of Golden Meadow, 
died at 9:25 a.m. Nov. 11, 2005.

He was cremated.

He is survived by his sons Daniel, James A., Terry, Phillip, David and James D. 
Barger; stepsons Bill, Roy and Jerry McMillian and Richard Williamson; daughters 
Deborah Barger and Brenda Barger Kuhl; stepdaughters Gloria Aaon, Linda Guidry, 
Bonnie McMillian and Edna McKenzie; sisters Ozalie Barger and Relley Barger; 46 
grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora McMillian Barger; stepson Robert 
McMillian; and step-grandson Christopher McMillian.

He was a paratrooper in the U.S. Army.

He was retired after 46 years in the carpenter's union.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
