Jean Minter						[Photo]

Jean Beard Minter, 74, a native of Santa Anna, Texas and resident of Gray, died 
at 4:40 a.m. Nov. 14, 2005.

Visiation will be 6 to 10 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Chauvin 
Funeral Home. A religious service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral 
home, with burial at St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery.

She is survived by her son Dan Minter; daughters Sandra Minter of Lockport and 
Debra Freeman of Houma; brother Carl Beard of Odessa, Texas; six grandchildren; 
and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl R. Minter Sr.; parents Sebe and 
Georgia Price Beard; son David Minter; and brother Herman Lee Beard.

She was a retired bookkeeper with Mark Tool Co.

She was a member of Desk and Derrick Club of Lafayette and Odessa, Texas, and 
Vietnam Veterans Mothers and Wives Club.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
