Joyce Legendre

Joyce Cheramie Legendre, 73, a native of Larose and resident of Lockport, died 
at 3:10 p.m. Nov. 29, 2005.

Visitation will be 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in 
Lockport. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at 
the church, with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her sons Steve and Chris Legendre; daughters Patsy Comeaux, 
Janet Legendre, Cindy Plaisance, Shawn Robichaux and Dawn Sherman; brother Louis 
Andrew "Buck" Cheramie; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Joseph Cheramie and Edith Adams 
Cheramie; and one grandchild.

She was a member of the senior citizens center and a parishioner of Holy Savior 
Catholic Church.

Falgout Funeral Home of Lockport is in charge of arrangements.
