Bonvillian, 78, a native of Westwego and resident of Thibodaux, died Nov. 12, 2005. Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. today at Thibodaux Funeral Home and 8 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. She is survived by her sons Michael, Richard, Elvis and Teddy Bonvillian; daughters Linda "Dada" Bonvillian, Patricia Cortez, Elaine Molaison, Tina Bonvillian and Mickie Sanchez; 22 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; and three great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph "Nookie" Nolan Bonvillian; parents, Noah Pierre Sevin and Fostine B. Sevin; daughter Doris Mayet; brother Nolan Sevin; sisters Mildred Hebert and Edith Chiasson. Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
