Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in the St. Charles Community. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, George "Gee" Brown; sons and daughter-in-law, Gary and Robin Brown and Abbot Justin Gerald Brown, O.S.B.; daughter and son-in- law Barbara and Glenn Plaisance; brothers Wilbur "Doodie" and Raoul "Yockie" Bernard; sisters Verna Clause and Dot Caillouet; grandchildren Nicol Armato, Renee Hebert and Glenn "Mickie" Plaisance; great-grandchildren Jordan, Erin, Katelyn and Shannon Hebert, Allis and Anna Armato, Hugh, Lucy and Owen Plaisance. She was preceded in death by her parents Raoul and Elda Clement Bernard; brother Junior Bernard; sisters Vivian "Mim" Clause, Ida and Gladys Bernard. She was a member of St. Joseph Ladies Altar, Society and Oblate of St. Joseph Abbey. Donations to St. Joseph Abbey, St. Benedict, LA 70457 are preferred.
