Murry Landry Sr.

Murry Landry Sr., a native and resident of Belle Rose, died Oct. 28, 2005.

Visitation and a memorial tribute will be held at 5 p.m. today at Rose Hill 
Baptist Church in Belle Rose. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. 
Thursday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Edna Johnson Landry; children Patricia 
Landry Steib of Plattenville, Carolyn Landry Thomas, Donald and Susie Landry 
Cooper, all of Belle Rose, Murry Landry Jr. of Ewellville, Kevin Landry of 
Donaldsonville, Conrad and Felecia Landry of Houston and Eathen Landry of St. 
James; brother Ulysses Landry of Napoleonville; sisters Olevia Landry Johnson of 
New Orleans and Doris Landry Cola of Marrero; 28 grandchildren; 18 great-
grandchildren; and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adolph and Rosetta Landry; one 
grandchild; one great-grandchild; five brothers; and four sisters.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of 
arrangements.
