Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano. He is survived by two daughters, Lozia P. Jambon and Carol P. Adams and husband, Duffy; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mirza Doucet Plaisance; his parents, Andrew Plaisance Sr. and Adelaide Guidry Plaisance; one son-in-law, Ernie Jambon; six brothers, Henry, Frankie, Elix, Andrew, Harris and Alex Plaisance; and one sister, Victore P. Bruce. He was Catholic. He was an oysterman, trawler, fur trapper, and school-bus driver for 14 years. He is survived by his daughters Lozia P. Jambon, Carol P. and Duffy Adams; grandchildren John Jambon, Denise A. Allemand, Reed Adams and wife, Helen, Cindy A. Ardoin and husband, Todd, Yvette J. Ledet and husband, David; great- grandchildren Celeste Allemand, Tiffany Ledet, Brad Ledet, Gabrielle Jambon, Christopher Adams and Linzy Adams. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mirza Doucet Plaisance; parents, Andre Sr. and Adelaide Guidry Plaisance; son-in-law Ernie Jambon; brothers Henry, Frankie, Elix, Andrew, Harris and Alex Plaisance; sister Victore P. Bruce. He was Catholic. He was an oysterman, trawler and fur trapper. He was a school bus driver for 14 years. Most of all, he enjoyed farming.
