Ricky Plaisance					[Photo]

Ricky James Plaisance, 18, a native of Raceland and resident of Mathews, died 
Oct. 29, 2005.

Visitation will be 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Morning Star Baptist Church in 
Raceland. A religious service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, 
with burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his fiancee, Alisha Nevarez of Raceland; parents, Samuel 
Charles and Sharon Plaisance; daughter Charity Lynn Plaisance of Raceland; 
brothers Samuel Lee and Andrea Lee of Thibodaux, Samuel Berryhill of Houma, 
Samiran Smith of Raceland, and Javonte Plaisance of Mathews; stepbrother Devonne 
Wolf; sisters Tarshria Lee and Raquel Lee of Thibodaux, Angela Plaisance of 
Mathews and Belinda Hayes of Coca Beach, Fla.; grandparents Joseph and Leona 
Charles; and step grandfather Dennis Williams.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jerryleen Plaisance and Phillip 
Plaisance Jr; paternal grandparents, Samuel and Lizzie Jackson Charles.

He was Baptist. His hobbies included playing basketball.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
