Velma Orgeron

Velma Badeaux Richoux Orgeron, 91, a native fo Larose and resident of Lockport, 
died at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 14, 2005.

Visitation will be 8 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the KC Hall in Larose. A Mass of 
Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Rosary Catholic 
Church in Larose, with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her son Russell Richoux; sister Nolena Detillier; brother 
Roland Badeaux; sister Nolena Detillier; grandchildren Russell Richoux of Port 
Arthur, Texas, Randy Richoux of Belle Chase and Cindy R. Thibodeaux of Chauvin; 
great-grandchildren Cheryl, Ryan, Erin and Ericka Richoux, Scott, Carrie and 
Eric Thibodeaux; and great-great-grandchild Shaely Thibodeaux.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Reed Richoux; second husband, 
Dudley Orgeron; parents, Alcibiade and Dolcina Hebert Badeaux; brothers Clarence 
Badeaux and Hayes Badeaux Sr.; sisters Celica LeBlanc, Lelia Galiano, Annie 
Richard, Helen LeBlanc, Ida Mae Savoie, Elise Bellanger and Edith Melancon.

She was a member of the Holy Rosary Ladies Altar Society.
