Velma Toups						Picture

Velma Dufrene Toups, 89, a native and resident of Gheens and former resident of 
New Orleans, died at 3:15 p.m. Nov. 18, 2005.

Visitation will be 6 to 10 p.m. today and 8 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony 
Catholic Church in Gheens. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 
a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial at Holy Savior Mausoleum.

She is survived by her daughters Patricia and Susan Toups.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Irwin Toups; parents Clema 
Blaise and Bernadette Falgout Dufrene; brothers Earl J. and Carter S. Dufrene; 
and sister Ella M. Dupuy.

She was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
