Verna Harding

Verna Mae Harding, 68, a native and resident of Houma, died Nov. 19, 2005.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today at Howard Third Zion Traveler's Baptist 
Church. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with 
burial at Crozier Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughters Janice S. Washington of Slidell, Cynthia M. 
Swing of Houma and Lisa H. Triggs of Raceland; son Dwight Harding of Houma; 10 
grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters Irma Harding and Marion Smith of 
New Orleans, Jacquelyn Williams of Beaumont, Texas, and Mable Williams and 
Annette Gorrell of Houma; and brothers Douglas Williams and Donald Celestine of 
Houma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel C. Prevost and Arthur Swing Sr.; 
grandparents Clenzy and Ellen Watson Celestine; and brother Earl Williams.

Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
