Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Anne Catholic Church in Napoloenville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Kathryn Simmons, Jean and Herbert Daigle, Judith Simmons, Marian and Russell Templet, Elizabeth and Dewayne Tullos; sisters, Norma Bergeron and Billie Toups; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy B. Simmons; parents, Ansil and Cora Brock Simmons; brothers, Jewell, Clyde and Robert Simmons; sisters, Margie Simmons, Lucille Alleman and Edrye Dolese. He was a lifetime parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church, an honorary life member of Council 1099, Msgr. Paul Landsman Assembly of the Fourth Degree, Knights of Columbus. He was a past president and charter member of Bayouside Country Club. Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
