Bertha Lathrop

Bertha Marie Terrebonne Lathrop, 88, a native of Cut Off and resident of Golden 
Meadow, died at 5 p.m. April 23, 2005.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic 
Church in Golden Meadow. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 
a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.

She is survived by her son, Woodford "Woody" Lathrop III; daughter, Brenda M. 
Johnson; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodford Henry "Wood" Lathrop Jr.; 
parents, Alphonse and Marie Lorraine Terrebonne; brothers, Richard, Ludvic, 
Edwin, Jefferson, William and Alphonse Terrebonne Jr.; and sister, Ozia Autin.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
