Blanchard, 52, a native of Houma and resident of Napoleonville, died April 9, 2005. Visitation will be 8 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anne Catholic Church in Napoleonville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial at Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery in Napoleonville. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie B. Blanchard; son, Curtis Malbrough; brother, Charles "Bootsy" Blanchard; and sisters, Alice Pellegrin, Goldie Roddy, Jane Bergeron, Sylvia Portier, Kate Repp and Diane Domangue. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Joseph Blanchard Sr. and Levie Daigle Blanchard. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a counselor of veteran affairs. Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
