Charles Cordes

Charles Edward Cordes, 75, a native and resident of Lockport, died at 9:30 a.m. 
April 12, 2005.

Visitation wil be 2 to 3 p.m. Friday at Samart Funeral Home. A religious service 
will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Christina Annicaro Cordes; sons, Peter Richard 
Williams, Anthony Salvatore Cordes and Joseph Frank Cordes; daughters Marlene 
Ann Cordes and Agnes Louise Cordes; brother, George Cordes; sister, Rose Marie 
Cordes; and 13 grandchildren.

He served six years in the U.S. Army. He was a lifetime member of the American 
Legion. He was also a member of the Lockport Volunteer Fire Department. He was a 
school crossing guard and auxiliary policeman for 25 years.
