Delores McGuin						[Photo]

Delores Elmira V. McGuin, 89, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of 
Gray, died at 3:57 p.m. April 7, 2005.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church 
in Gray.

A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial 
at Mount Olive Cemetery in Gray.

She is survived by her sons, Carl McGuin Sr. of Gray, Gilbert McGuin of Dallas, 
Warren McGuin Sr. of New Orleans, Charles McGuin of Gray, Patrick McGuin of 
Houma, Leo and Stanley McGuin, both of Gray; daughter, Lois Gauthier of Gray; 27 
grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam "Tom" McGuin; parents, Alfred and 
Margaret Verriett; brothers, Louis, Alfred Jr. and Benny Verriett; sisters, 
Lilly Smith, Henrietta Verriett, Melvina Frasier, Eola Williams, Lola Tucker and 
Essie Verriett.

She was a member of Mount Vernon United Methodist Church.
