Essie Leonard

Essie Badeaux Leonard, 92, a native of Larose and resident of Marrero, died 
April 13, 2005.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Mothe Funeral Home, 
2100 Westbank Expressway, in Harvey.

Parlors will be open at 9 a.m. Saturday. Call 366-4343 for information.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park.

She was the wife of the late Delves Mitchell Leonard; daughter of the late 
Clotilda Acosta Badeaux and Camille Badeaux; mother of Gerald Leonard of Gretna, 
Euris Leonard of Lafayette, Terry Leonard of Marrero and the late Evert Leonard; 
and sister of Norman Badeaux, the late Marie Rodrigues, Lucy Robichaux, Bernice 
LeBlanc, Octavia Landry, Jane Ruiz, Horace, Camille and Milton Badeaux. She is 
also survived by 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-
granddaughter.

Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
