Wiley, 85, a native of Magnolia, Ark., and resident of Houma, died at 11:10 p.m. April 6, 2005. Visitation will be 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. A religious service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. He will be cremated. He is survived by his wife, Annabelle C. Wiley; sons, Mike, Pat and George Wiley and Wilton Roddy; daughters, Betty King, Codie Kilgore and Leona Brock; brothers, Wade and Jimmy Wiley; sister, Phyllis Newton; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Thomas Wiley and Eleanor Dodson Wiley; two brothers; and two sisters. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. He was a World War II and Korean War veteran, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 267 and Houma Shriners. He was an avid fisherman. Donations to Annabelle Wiley are preferred. Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
