Georgiana Epps						[Photo]

Georgiana Jones Epps, 77, a native and resident of Raceland died at 1:35 a.m. 
April 4, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Morning Star Baptist Church in 
Raceland, with burial at at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Smith, Ella Epps and Ethelene 
Thompkins, all of Raceland; son, Isaac Epps Jr., of Raceland; 15 grandchildren, 
34 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Mary Jones; husband, Isaac 
Epps Sr.; daughter, Gloria Rose; brothers, Cornelius Ingram and Clarence Jones 
Sr.; and sisters, Gladys Brown, Pearl Jacobs, and Florida Albert.

She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church. She was also a former usher at 
Morning Star Baptist Church. Her hobbies included fishing, and cooking.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
