Gregory C. Greco, 52, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Baton Rouge, died 
April 22, 2005.

Visitation will be 8 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in 
Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday 
at the church, with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

He is survived by his father, Vincent "Bush" Greco of Thibodaux; sister, Sharyn 
Hecard of the New Orleans area; niece, Gina Smith; nephew, Christopher Hecard of 
the New Orleans area; and loving friend, Helene Jones of Baton Rouge.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Lee Cleveland Greco.

He was an employee at the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport Police, Fire and 
Rescue Unit. He was a former chief of the arson division of the Louisiana State 
Fire Marshal. He worked for other law enforcement agencies in Louisiana and 
Florida.

He was a member of the Louisiana State Firemen's Association.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a former member of the 
Thibodaux, Schriever and St. John's volunteer fire departments.

Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
