Jeffrey Authement					[Photo]

Jeffrey Joseph Authement, 82, a native of Chauvin and resident of Bourg, died 
April 13, 2005.

Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. today and 8 to 10 a.m. Friday at the KC Hall in 
Chauvin. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. 
Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin, with burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Pellegrin Authement; son, Keith Patrick 
Authement; daughters, Jeffie Hebert and Cindy Thibodeaux, both of Bourg; 
brothers, Nason and Eural Authement; sisters, Ann Babin and Lou Chaisson; six 
grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lanest and Aurora Bergeron Authement; 
and brother, Annasee Authement.

He served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was a veteran of World War II. He was a 
grand knight of the Bourg Knights of Columbus and a member of the Bourg Lions 
Club.

He was a member of Louisiana Retired Teachers Association and Terrebonne 
Association of Retired Teachers.
