Visitation will be 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Houma. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church with burial following at St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery. She is survived by her sons Eugene A. Tassin of Harvey and Raymond Tassin of Houma; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phil P. Tassin; parents, Placide Mayeaux and Alice Bordelon Mayeaux; brothers Emanuel Mayeaux and Leo Mayeaux; and sisters Blanche M. Burke, Elma M. Rico and Angel M. Lemoine. She was a homemaker and a past employee of Elmer's Candy Co. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
