Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Houma. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery. He is survived by his stepson, Arthur "Junior" Crochet; daughters and sons-in- law, Linda and Delvin Babin and Gayle Dupre; stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Melva and Joseph Quick; sisters, Isabella Dupre Navarre, Rita Dupre Thiboaux and Audrey Dupre Thibodeaux; 19 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Marie Bergeron Crochet Dupre; parents, Andre and Lena LeBouef Dupre; stepson, Wilson "Red" Crochet; stepdaughter, Jeanette Kuest; granddaughter, Vickie Crochet; sisters, Hattie Babin, Verna Hebert, Lucy Hebert and Jeanne Malbrough. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was a retired welder from Main Iron Works. Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
