Carline, 68, a native of Plaquemine and resident of Houma, died at 4:09 p.m. April 20, 2005. Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday and from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Chauvin Funeral Home. A religious service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel, with burial at Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery. He is survived by his fiancee, Tammy Lirette of Houma; brother, Edward J. "E.J." Carline of Plaquemine; sisters, Babs Lee Pertuit of Raceland and Hyacinth "Hy" Pierron of Houma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward J. and Carrie Belle Perkins Carline; and brother, Walter J. Carline. He was a butcher, U.S. Navy Veteran and a past custodian for the Knights of Columbus Council 1307 building. Chauvin Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
