Landry, 80, a native of Chackbay and resident of Raceland, died at 4:40 p.m. April 2, 2005. Visitation will be 8:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Hilary of Poiters Catholic Church in Raceland. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial at Resurrection Memorial Park Mausoleum at St. Hilary Cemetery. He is survived by his son, Randy Landry; daughter, Elaine L. Pierce; son-in-law, Nickless Pierce; daughter-in-law, Karen G. Landry; brother, Villier Landry; sisters, Doris Sanchez, Una Ledet, Annie Matherne and Leona Crochet; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bella Folse Landry; parents, Lucien Felician and Ernestine Rousseau Landry; stepmother, Marie Vicknair Landry; brothers, Wilbert, Ernest and Joseph "Eugene" Landry; sisters, Nobie Levron, Mildred "Blanche" Keller, Hazel Landry, Bernice Aucoin and Elise Cheramie. He was a parishioner of St. Hilary of Poiters Catholic Church, a U. S. veteran and member of the V. F. W. and American Legion. Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
