Raymond Poche Jr.					[Photo]

Raymond N. Poche Jr., 68, a native and resident of Raceland, died at 9:50 a.m. 
April 19, 2005.

Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Samart Funeral Home in Raceland and 8 
to 10 a.m. Friday at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian 
burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial at the 
church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Patricia Cardozier Poche; son, Carlton 
"C.J." Poche Sr.; daughters, Suzanne Stevens and Terri Rene Adams; sister, 
Ramona Ann Poche; grandchildren, Tiffany Poche, Christie Stevens, C.J. Poche 
Jr., Joshua Stevens, Colby Adams and Rende Adams; and great-grandchild, Kade 
Michael.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond N. Sr. and Earline Martin 
Poche.

He was a parishioner of St. Hilary Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Air 
Force.

He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting and gardening.

He was a former employee of the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
