Richard Van Leuven					[Photo]

Richard Gordon Van Leuven, 69, a native of Ellenville, N.Y. and resident of 
Houma, died at 8:15 p.m. April 15, 2005.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at 
Samart Funeral Home in Houma.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with 
burial at Rogers Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Bernice Vliet Van Leuven; son, Richard Allen Van 
Leuven; step sons, John, Duane and Raymond Bennett; daughters, Bedra Falgout, 
Rachel LeBoeuf and Angel Falgout; brothers, Vivan, John, Roger, Pat, Tony and 
Paul Van Leuven; sisters, Ella Du Mond, Rachael Gorr, Mary Sanderson and Jeanie; 
and 15 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vivan G. Van Leuven and Ester M. Davis 
Van Leuven; brothers, Raymond and Allen Van Leuven; sister, Donna Smith; and 
granddaughter, Shelby Lynn Falgout.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
