Rosemary Alsey

Rosemary Thomas Alsey, 86, a native of Paincourtville and resident of New 
Orleans, died March 26, 2005.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Virginia Baptist Church in 
Ewellville. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, 
with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her stepdaughter, Brenda Robinson of Thibodaux; adopted 
daughter, Maxine Christmas of New Orleans; and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence Bailey; second husband, 
Percy Alsey; sons, James and Michael Reed; parents, James and Ezora Thomas; 
sister, Mable T. Nelson; and brothers, Walter and James Thomas.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of 
arrangements.
