The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ================================ February 21. 2005 2:42PM Agnes Nunn Agnes Ruth Zalatel Nunn, 72, a native of Schulter, OkIa., and resident of Thibodaux for more than 30 years, was born June 15, 1932 an d went to be with her Lord on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was a faithful and active member of the First Assembly of God Church in Thibodaux. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 8 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Assembly of God in Thibodaux. A funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. Wednesday with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery. She is survived by her husband Col. (Ret.) Thomas C. Nunn Sr.; son, Col. Thomas (Ret.) C. Nunn Jr. and wife Gea of Landgraaf, The Netherlands; daughters, Pamela Oncale and husband Davis of Thibodaux, Becky Watkins and husband Johnny of Okmulgee, Okla., Marilyn Pfefferkorn and husband John of Beloit, Kansas, and Linda Gros and husband Herman Jr. of Thibodaux; brothers, Kenneth and Samuel Zaletel; sisters, Nadine Hamilton, Goldina Smith, Dolly Fraley, Faye Zaletel, Elaine Fortier and Vivian Exum; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Toney and Nadine Zaletel; and granddaughter, Shantell Marie Gros. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or First Assembly of God Church in Thibodaux.
