Charlene Lewis

Charlene Opal Cross Lewis, 84, a native of Welsh and resident of Morgan City, 
died Feb. 21, 2005, at her residence in Morgan City.

Visitation will be noon to 3 p.m. Thursday at Twin City Funeral Home in Morgan 
City. A funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Twin City Funeral Home, with 
burial at Morgan City Cemetery

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, John W. "Jack" Lewis of Morgan City; 
daughters, Mary Andrus of Des Allemands, Cheryl Braud of Franklin and Jackie 
Weems of Lafayette; son, John C. Lewis of Morgan City; sisters, Mary Jim 
Cloutier and Duane Mayon, both of Morgan City; brothers, Charles "C.F." Cross 
and Harry "Buddy" Cross, both of Morgan City; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Hazel Graham Cross.

She was a member of Pharr Chapel United Methodist Church.

Twin City Funeral Home in Morgan City is in charge of arrangements.
