George Boyd						[Photo]

George "Snook Boo" Edison Boyd, 56, a native of Raceland and resident of 
Thibodaux, died Jan. 31, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at Third Zion Baptist Church in 
Raceland. The religious service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church with 
burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his sisters, Carrie Toussaint of Thibodaux, Jo Ann Griffin of 
Raceland, Malinda Lazard of Larose and Pamela Boyd of Monroe; brothers, Lawrence 
and Donald Boyd of Raceland, and Walter Boyd of Longview, Texas; and his 
godchild, Germaine Caldwell of Thibodaux.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Lubertha Allen Boyd; 
sisters, Anna Lee Boyd, Rosa Lee Boyd and Roxanne Boyd; and brother, Michael 
Boyd.

He was Baptist. His hobbies included dancing.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
