Gilmas Cheramie Jr.

Gilmas "Butch" J. Cheramie Jr., 58, a native and resident of Galliano, died Feb. 
23, 2005.

Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at Samart Funeral Home and 9 to 11 a.m. 
Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano. A Mass of Christian burial 
will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial at the church 
cemetery.

He is survived by his mother, Augusta Adams Cheramie; brothers, Curtis, Danny 
and Dale Cheramie; and sisters, Gail Lafont and Debbie Dufrene.

He is survived by his father, Gilmas Cheramie Sr.; grandparents, Willie 
Cheramie, Evelia Cantrelle, Lezie Adams and Alice Guidry Adams; and brother, 
Ronald James Cheramie.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
