Gladys Cheramie

Gladys "Glaze" Pierce Cheramie, 92, a native and resident of Cut Off, died at 
6:22 p.m. Feb. 1, 2005.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in 
Cut Off. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Friday, with 
burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Harriet Cheramie 
and Ronnie and Sandra Cheramie; daughters and sons-in-law, Anna Mae and Jimmie 
Plaisance and Hazel and Terry Dantin; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Waldo Cheramie; parents, Edgar and 
Olfida Bruce Pierce; brothers, Horace, Wallace, Forest and Alex Pierce; sisters, 
Stella Hunter, Ella Ledet and Lucia Cheramie.

She was Catholic and a member of Catholic Daughters.

She enjoyed fishing and watching sports.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
