Gisclair Jr., 78, a native and resident of Galliano, died at 6:03 a.m. Feb. 6, 2005. A religious service was held at 11 a.m. today at Open Door Revival Center, with burial at Cheramie Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Bergeron Gisclair; sons, Jimmy, Reese and Aaron Gisclair; daughters, Maudrey Vizier, Fay Orgeron, Mona Orgeron, Mandy Gisclair, Velta Klause and Adriel Gisclair; brothers, Loydman and Sam Gisclair; sister, Melvina Cheeks; 18 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Madio Sr. and Clothilde Bourg Gisclair; son, Norvin Gisclair; daughter, Daisy Gisclair; and brothers, James and Paul Gisclair.
