Marcel Benoit

Marcel Benoit, 77, a native of Des Allemands and resident of Choctaw, died Feb. 
1, 2005.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. today to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Thibodaux Funeral Home. 
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. James 
Chapel in Choctaw, with burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his son, Chuckie Benoit; daughters, Priscilla Tabor and 
Jennifer Benoit.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Delatte Benoit; parents, Pierre and 
Louisiane Thibodaux Benoit; son, Gary Benoit; brothers, Antoine Sr., Nelson, 
Edison, Sidney and Emile Benoit; and sisters, Eva Cortez, Azema Benoit, 
Antoinette B. Pitre and Victoria Benoit.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
