Marie Champagne					[Photo]

Marie Louise Aycock Champagne, 90, a native of Theriot and resident of Houma, 
died at 4:20 p.m. Feb. 4, 2005.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. today at St. Francis de 
Sales Cathedral, with burial at St. Eloi Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Paul Champagne; parents, Gaston 
P. Aycock Sr. and Marie Louise Theriot Aycock; brother, Gaston P. Aycock Jr.; 
and sister, MaeBelle A. Dodd.

She was a retired school teacher of 40 years with the Terrebonne Parish School 
District. She taught at Houma Elementary and belonged to the Retired Teacher's 
Association of Terrebonne Parish. She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales 
Cathedral.

Donations to Hospice South Louisiana, 723 Point St. Suite B, Houma, are 
preferred.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
