Marjorie Himel						[Photo]

Marjorie "Margie" Rita Himel, 83, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of 
Thibodaux, died Feb. 6, 2005.

She is survived by her sons, Andrew "Andy" Himel and wife, Lucy, and Donald 
Himel; daughter, Linda Chaplin; 14 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Celstine and Eugenie Borne Gonzales; a 
grandchild, Brooklyn Himel; and two brothers, Leon Gonzales and Junius Gonzales.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and mother-in-law. She was a giving and 
caring person and will be sadly missed by family and friends. She had a special 
place in some of our hearts.

Donations to Samart Funeral Home for expenses are preferred.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

No services are scheduled. She will be cremated.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Andrew "Andy" and Lucy Himel 
and Donald Himel; daughter, Linda Chaplin; 14 grandchildren; 34 great-
grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Celstine and Eugenie Borne Gonzales; 
brothers, Leon and Junius Gonzales; and great-grandchild, Brooklyn Himel.
