Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Cox Funeral Home in Delhi. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Cox Funeral Home, with burial in Sunflower Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Linda Tarver Wise of Epps; three children, Emily Wise Lacoste and husband, Jay, of Covington, Edward Clinton Wise and wife, Kelly, of Aurora, Colo., and Ernest Andrew "Ernie" Wise and wife, Teresa, of Hopewell, Va.; three stepchildren, Angie Runions Kitchens and husband, Kevin, of Shreveport, Anthony Runions and wife, Rhonda, and Leigh Anne Runions, all of Epps; five grandchildren, Stewart Edward Wise of Baskin, Maurina Leigh Scott Wise of Tacoma, Wash., Elizabeth Rayanne Wise and Colten Andrew Wise of Hopewell and Katie Rhiannon Lacoste of Covington; nine brothers and sisters, Steve and Karen Wise of Arroyo Grande, Calif., Ernest "Bubba" and Pat Wise of Naples, Fla., Cindy and Brad McSwain, Katie and Clift McCarstle, Micki and Ricky Smith, Doris Ann and Jack Benoist, all of Natchez, Miss., and Sue Meyers of Denver; numerous nieces, nephews, family and close friends along with his former wife, forever friend and the mother of his children, Vickie Stewart Wise of Cumming, Ga. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Hicks Wise and Jackie Johnson Wise; and two siblings, Donnis Ray Fenley and Patsy Fenley Bryant. He was a tool pusher with Pride Drilling Company for more than 30 years. Cox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
