Rosemary Frederick

Rosemary Alsay Frederick "The Lord is my Shepherd," 87, a native and resident of 
Paincourtville, died Feb 24, 2005.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Virginia Baptist Church in 
Ewellville. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, 
with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her daughters, Angella Knockum, Ruth Bolden, Jo Ann Truehill, 
Jackie Fair, Doris Johnson, Minta Harris, Thelma Gamble; sons, Eugene Frederick, 
John Frederick and Glenzy Frederick; sister, Matilda Nelson; brothers, Horace 
Alsay and the Rev. Glenzy Alsay; 25 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 
one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Frederick; son, Donald Frederick; 
parents, James and Frances Simon Alsay; four sisters; four brothers; and three 
grandchildren.

She was a member of Israel Walker Order of Elks and a senior usher at Virginia 
Baptist Church.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of 
arrangemetns.
