Rosie Ross

Rosie Ross, 80, a resident of Forest Hill, died Feb. 19, 2005.

A religious service was held at 11 a.m. today at Pisgah Baptist Church, Forest 
Hill with burial at Paul Cemetery in Forest Hill.

She is survived by her son, Donnie Ross of Thibodaux; daughters, Gail Taylor and 
her husband, Lee of Forest Hill, Janice Mabile and her husband, Lynn of Pierre 
Part, Patricia Aycock and her husband, Nealon of DeRidder, Jean Hebert and her 
husband, Kenneth of Lafayette, Lu Cormier and her husband, Lynn of Lafayette and 
Penny Haaland and her husband, Day of Lafayette; sisters, Helen Jenkins of 
Avinger, Texas and Shirley Stieler of Marble Falls, Texas; thirty-two 
grandchildren and thirty-five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Ross and daughter, Annette 
Ross Bufkin.

She was the prayer chairman for her Sunday school class at Pisgah Baptist 
Church. Mrs. Ross was member of a Bowling league for 20 years and loved 
painting, music and song writing.
