Scudy Brown Sr., 62, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Jan. 26, 2005 at 
Thibodaux Regional Medical Center.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Williams & Southall Funeral Home in 
Thibodaux and from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Moses Baptist Church in Thibodaux.

A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial 
at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Breaux Brown of Thibodaux; daughters, Norma 
Jean and Brenda and Jennifer Smith, all of Thibodaux, Lakita Fusiler of Houma; 
sons, Scudy Jr., Milton, Gary, Daryl Paul, Christopher and Melvin Lee Brown, 
Murphy and Ferrante Matthews, all of Thibodaux; step children, Alton and Juy 
Breaux of Arlington, Texas, Shawn Breaux of Thibodaux and Tony Breaux of 
Mansfield, Texas; sisters, Leila Azemar, Gertrude Brown, Edna and Ida Robinson, 
all of Thibodaux; and adopted grandson, Bena Brown.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruben and Louise Robinson Brown; 
brothers, Murphy Brown, Freddie Price and Gregory Robinson; and sisters, Dorothy 
Howard, Doris Brown Johnson and Delores Price.

A retired welder, he was a member of Moses Baptist Church and enjoyed wood 
working.

Williams & Southall Funeral Home of Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
